Northwest Women and Children's Hospital is a tertiary Grade A women and children's specialized hospital directly under the Shaanxi Provincial Health and Family Planning Commission. It is one institution, two wards, and three brands with Shaanxi Provincial Maternal and Child Health Hospital and Shaanxi Provincial Family Planning Research Institute. It is the largest women and children's specialized hospital in the northwest region. Some disciplines of the hospital have a high influence in the country or western regions. The total investment in medical equipment of the hospital is 350 million yuan, and it has world-class medical equipment such as GE (1.5T) MRI, Philips 256 layer Starlight iCT, comparative genome hybridization scanner, digital operating room, and GE (E8) color ultrasound in the United States.
