What types of transformers are there?

文章来源:精源科技 更新时间:2024-01-03 发布时间:2024-01-03

Classified by heat dissipation method: mainly divided into dry air-cooled and oil self cooled, with only different heat dissipation methods. As long as the design is reasonable, the achieved effect is the same. Customers can determine based on their environment and purchasing intentions. For general capacities below 600KVA, considering external dimensions and cost, it is recommended to choose dry air-cooled.

Divided by structure: the company's products are separated and self coupled. The isolated type is also known as the inductive type or the double winding type. The two windings are insulated and isolated, and the electrical power is transmitted by electromagnetic induction, without direct electrical contact. The company adds special electromagnetic shielding materials to reduce magnetic leakage and electromagnetic radiation, reduce consumption and achieve environmental protection. Self coupling type, also known as single winding type, refers to a transformer with at least two windings having a common part. The secondary side connection is from the primary side winding tap, so it is directly connected with electricity.

How to choose transformer: 1. Confirm the power supply voltage (V) provided by the grid and the rated voltage (V) required by the electrical equipment to determine the voltage transformation ratio. 2. Confirm the number of phases of the input power required by the electrical equipment to determine whether the transformer is made into a three-phase or single-phase system. 3. Confirm the rated current (a) of the input of the electrical equipment to determine the capacity of the transformer (kVA).
